Our school benefits from a thriving and very active FPTA (Friends, Parents & Teachers Association) who carry out a variety of events throughout the year. Our aim is not only to raise much appreciated extra funds for the school but also to deliver events that children, their families and the wider community can enjoy (we enjoy them too!).
We currently consist of a core committee of four, with numerous other extremely valued members who help to put on a varied programme of events, from a Christmas Fayre to film nights, an Easter trail and even a Duck Race! Through these activities we are able to raise valuable extra funds for the school. Most recently we have been able to support the school through the purchase of a mud kitchen, outdoor seating, new books, a mobile cooker and interactive teaching screens.
We are always keen to welcome new members and ask only that people give as much or as little time that they’d like, whether that is manning a stall at the fayre or organizing a whole event!
